| Save-the-Date Cards |
Cards sent out prior to the wedding informing guests of the proposed date of the affair. |
| Scheduling |
Proper scheduling through the entire wedding-planning process and on the wedding day is what makes for a stress-free, happy wedding experience. |
| Seating |
Bridal-party members at the reception should be seated with dates and/or spouses. Immediate families should be seated as close to the bride’s and groom’s table as possible. |
| Second Weddings |
Very different from first-time affairs, second and more weddings should reflect a bride’s current stature, life, and sophistication. |
| Showers |
Traditionally hosted by the maid of honor, a shower is a party whose goal was to “shower” the bride with the necessities of homemaking. Today, a shower is more sophisticated, may even be a cocktail party, and even the guys may be invited. A bride should have no more than three showers. |
| Something old |
A traditional, lovely old adage that brides take to heart as they wear… Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… |
